Lest We Forget

WEB PAGE IS MOVING

Hi All, it's been a while. Well, I've been pretty busy lately and getting loads of shooting done. Unfortunately haven't had much time to post the pictures here. The web site will be moving in the near future. The new site is up and running but just starting to get the photos uploaded. I am posting a shot from Remembrance Day for you all here for now.

The new web site is www.kylemcphoto.wordpress.com .

See you all there.

June 2010

Wow, been a while since I updated here. Well, had the privilege of shooting the Summer In The City event again this year. Got some great concert photos (one of which got published in the local newspaper). Presently I have a couple photos entered in Outdoor Photography Canada Magazine's Fall photo contest. (If you want to vote here's the link, you just need to register first...photos are by "kmphoto" www.outdoorphotographycanada.com/gallery/index.php ).

FlickR Account Now Under Construction

Hello all, I am now in the process of uploading photos to my FlickR account.  The link to the account can be found on the right under "Other Sites Where My Work Can Be Viewed".  There is also a link to Steinbach's Summer In The City, if you looks under the "Sponsors" and "Maps" links you will see some of the work I did for the city last summer shooting photos of a summer festival.
Also, I've made leaving comments much simpler as you will see if you try to leave one.

Favorite Landscapes 2009

Sorry it's been a while since I updated. Thanks Steph for the comments. Anyway, here's my 2 favorite landscapes I captured over 2009. The winter scene is taken behind Banff Springs Hotel, and the other is taken along a back country road in Manitoba. For more pictures, you can always click on the Canadian Geographic link on the right of the web site.

Tonka Town

This is an example of my latest projects. A "study" in tilt-shift photography. Tilt-shift is the process of shooting a photo in a way where a select area is in focus, often creating the illusion of the subjects looking like toy miniatures.
